Fordham University
Elizabeth Martin is a bilingual financial executive with more than 25 years of international business experience. As a CPA, CMA, and a former chief financial officer, her current focus is on governance which is further supported by her current and past directorships in both the corporate as well as the not-for-profit sector. She was appointed to the board of directors of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in June 2008 and is currently vice-chair. She chairs both the Quality Committee and the Critical Incident Review Committee of the board, and serves as a member on the Common Investment Committee and the Education and Research Committee. Martin is also vice-chair of the board of the Healthcare Insurance Reciprocal of Canada (HIROC) and serves as a member of several of HIROC’s board committees.
