s an endowed professor of applied econometrics at the Econometric Institute, Erasmus School of Economics (ESE). He specialises in developing models to describe, understand, and predict decisions made by consumers. His technical interests include modelling unobserved heterogeneity, marketing econometrics, and Bayesian statistics. His research has been published widely in peer-reviewed academic journals. Dennis is also associate director of the Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM), and has supervised many econometrics master students with business-related data research theses.
