Bio

Lisa M. Hopper is a professional speaker, author, educator, social entrepreneur and activist with an extensive background in medicine, technology, education and international humanitarian aid management. In 1994-2015, Lisa Hopper founded World Care a non-profit organization working to raise awareness and resource solutions for the problems presented by poverty, education, health, poor environment resulting from human rights violations; the benefits and dangers, and the possibilities for responsible change. As an accomplished presenter on the societal implications of emerging technologies, social entrepreneurism and human capital, she has addressed educational institutions, corporations, community audiences and groups throughout the United States and in over 35 countries. Lisa Hopper is the co-chair of Southern Arizona Community Organizations Active in Disasters (SACOAD). She is the Co-founder of FEYNLAB Laboratories managing regional and global business development and corporate strategic planning.  In addition to her work with World Care, Hopper is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Arizona and international consultant for emerging new companies to promote ethics, framework and understanding in social enterprise ventures. In 2014, she became an adjunct faculty member of the Eller College of Management, Department of Organization and Management.  Lisa Hopper has extensive experience in startups, fund development, public relations, event planning, and international community relations. A native of South Chicago, Hopper is a veteran of the United States Armed Services, attended the George Washington University College of Medicine in Washington D.C. majoring in Administration and Physics. She is the recipient of over 100 awards including Global Visionary Award, U.N. Humanitarian Award, Points of Light and two presidential letters for aid work response in the United States Disasters.
