Harvard Business School

Professor in Economics, Department of Economics of the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University. She received her Bachelor in Philosophy from Harbin Normal University in 1982, Master in Economics from Harbin Normal University in 1991 and Ph.D. in Philosophy from Renmin University of China in 1996. She was an assistant research fellow of Ministry of Finance of China in 1993 and a post-doctoral fellow for the program of Science and Engineering Management of the School of Economics and Management atTsinghua University between 1996 and 1998. She teaches "Public Finance", "Macroeconomic Analysis of China" and "Public Choices". Professor Liu has published in top domestic journals such as Journal of Financial Research, Taxation Research, Accounting Research, Public Finance Research.
