Dr. Levitin is a Distinguished Professor of Engineering Science whose research emphasis is on Information theory, the physics of communication and computing, complex and organized systems as well as bioinformatics and the quantum theory of measurement. Professor Levitin is a life fellow of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) as well as a member, of the International Academy of Informatization. He is an affiliated faculty with the Boston University Center for Information and Systems Engineering.
