Biography

Laura Greenberg-Chao, Esq. is a Partner at Henshon Klein LLP, a boutique law firm in Boston. Greenberg-Chao is a commercial litigator handling a wide variety of contract matters, partnership disputes, employment cases, and torts. She litigates in federal and state court, and also manages arbitrations. In 2018, she was named one of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly's 'Top Women of the Law', and she was also named a Super Lawyer for 2021. Before moving to Boston with her family at the end of 2012, Greenberg-Chao was an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, investigating and prosecuting violent crimes for more than a decade. During that time, Greenberg-Chao also conducted dangerousness hearings in mental health facilities for defendants who had been declared not guilty by reason of insanity.

Greenberg-Chao has taught Prosecutorial Ethics, Clinical Evidence and Criminal Procedure. Using her prosecutorial and complex trial experiences, she brings the rules and procedure to life for her students. She takes pride in helping to shape a new generation of thoughtful, ethical, and committed lawyers.
