Dr. Alderson is an Associate Professor of Teaching at the Fogelman College of Business & Economics at the University of Memphis where she has taught undergraduate and graduate business courses since 1999 and online courses since 2002. Prior to academia, her corporate experience includes working with attorneys, management teams, and employees at various Fortune 500 companies in the areas of employment law, employee relations, recruitment, training and development and HRIS administration.

Dr. Alderson holds a Professional Human Resource (PHR) certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute.
