Alberta School of Business

Larry Fox is a General Manager and Project Management professional with more than 30 years of experience in complex capital construction projects in traditional bid/spec construction, design build and P3. His specialized line of expertise is with: HVAC control systems, security systems, life safety and electrical and mechanical systems and energy management.

Larry also serves on the faculty of continuing education in the college of business management for: Mount Royal University, Red Deer College, Grant McEwen University, The University of Alberta and past faculty member for the George Washington University ESI masters program. Larry has also written and delivered courses for the Canadian Mechanical Contractor's Education Foundation under the Canadian construction associations gold seal program.

MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: • Restructured the Canadian operations organization of Honeywell Canada to enable this organization to enter the P3 arena and execute major construction projects while maintaining focus on existing key customers and the core business. • Consolidated the Western Canadian and the US Pacific Northwest business for Johnson Controls to enable the company to reduce overhead cost and take advantage of best practices. • Contributed to the complete re-engineering of an engineering process effecting approximately 400 million dollars in annual business. • Managed the orderly discontinuation of a 17 million dollars business for TransAlta Utilities. • Has held management positions with three major controls contractors and has been responsible for the execution of over 5,000 projects in Canada, the US and United Kingdom.
