Presentation

Klaus is a PhD Student at Copenhagen Business School, Department of Digitalization, working with the digital marketing firm Blackwood Seven, which transforms the advertising industry through the use of Artificial Intelligence. Klaus’ current research aims to boost the accuracy of so-called Media Mix Models (which inform about the optimal allocation of advertisement spend across different advertisement channels like TV, radio and Facebook) through AI and econometric modelling. More concretely, he investigates how one can extract valuable information from Social Media platforms to improve econometric forecasts and how to model the non-linear growth and decay of advertisement effects across brands and industries.

Klaus holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Information Systems (e-business) from Copenhagen Business School, where he conducted research on de-anonymising the Bitcoin Blockchain using Supervised Machine Learning and investigated the practical analysis of large-scale geospatial data at the IBM-CBS research project on the Roskilde festival. In addition to his academic work, Klaus brings extensive work experience from the IT sector, working - amongst others - as Business Developer for Europe’s largest incubator Rocket Internet and as Software Engineer for Danske Bank.
