Kim Østrup is an economist (cand. polit.). He had a life long carrier in IBM and stopped in 2012 as VP with responsibilities including technology policy, stakeholder relations, contacts to government, CSR. For IBM Research he has been executive sponsor for 3 European Smart Grid projects. He has been member of a number of government committees on technology and higher education. He has been chairman of the IT industry association and AmCham , member of the board of the Chamber of Commerce , DI, ITU CBS Advisory Board (Styrelsesråd), Center for Language Technology. To day he is chairman of P. Carl Petersens Kollegium, member of the board of GoBike, of The Danish Board of Technology and is active in international accreditation of Business Schools under EFMD
