Keri Walsh

Keri Walsh is the Director of the Institute of Irish Studies at Fordham University and founder of Fordham’s annual Irish Women Writers Symposium. She is also the editor of James Joyce’s Dubliners (Broadview Press, 2016) and The Letters of Sylvia Beach (Columbia University Press, 2010). Her edition of Joyce’s only extant play Exiles (1918) is forthcoming from Oxford World’s Classics. Walsh’s articles and reviews have appeared in have appeared in PMLA, Modernism/modernity, Critical Inquiry, James Joyce Quarterly, Journal of Modern Literature, and Eire-Ireland. In addition to her research in Irish literature and drama, Walsh also writes about film. In 2014, her book Mickey Rourke was published in the British Film Institute’s “Film Stars” series. In 2018 she was awarded the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences “Academy Film Scholar” Fellowship to support work on her book in progress, Stella’s Claim: Women, Method Acting, and the Hollywood Film (forthcoming from Routledge).
