Overview

I am the Head of the Manchester Pharmacy School, which has approximately 900 students in total on its undergraduate and postgraduate courses.  In this role I am responsible for the leadership, management and development of the School. A key undertaking of this role is to ensure that all of our students gain a first class education that ensures their employment prospects and equips them to be the leaders in pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences of tomorrow. It is my job to create the conditions that allow students and staff to excel.

  • 1987 - 1989: Post-doctoral research fellow supported by Bayer
  • 1987: Visiting post-doctoral research fellow at the Michigan Cancer Foundation
