Darla Moore School of Business

Katie White is an undergraduate career services manager in the Office of Career Management at the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business. In this role she provides professional development resources and coaching regarding topics including resumes, cover letters, interviewing skills, networking, and professional communication. Her background includes experience managing leadership and study abroad programs, teaching both domestically and internationally, and working in career services and academic advising.

Currently. she coaches students pursuing Finance and Risk Management and Insurance degrees and teaches Business Careers in a Global Economy, a cutting-edge career tools class and graduation requirement for all business majors. White also assists with Moore School Maymester study abroad courses. She earned a B.A. in English from Wheaton College and an M.S.E. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Kansas, as well as completing NACE’s Career Coaching Intensive Course certification.

In her spare time, White enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and being outdoors. Originally from New York, she appreciates the warm weather and friendly atmosphere of the South.
