Leveraging her career background and passion, Katharina von Frankenberg actively engages in Egon Zehnder’s Financial Officers, Private Equity, and Industrial practices. She helps firms master change processes in their leadership, and corporate culture, and serves clients in executive search, management appraisal, and leadership development for individuals and teams. In addition, she accompanies the integration of managers into new environments in order to develop impact as quickly as possible.

Katharina is an active member of the CEO & Board Practice Group and the Board Academy e.V.. As part of the Board Academy and in cooperation with the national Council for Sustainable Development and ESMT Berlin, she is a co-founder of the German Chapter of the Climate Governance Initiative in collaboration with the World Economic Forum. She drives the discussion on sustainability and climate protection at board level.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Katharina spent over 15 years with Ernst & Young and advanced to the role of Partner. She led a 50-member team specialized in M&A taxation, serving both major German and multinational corporations and internationally active private equity funds. Katharina began her career at Arthur Andersen. Katharina is a certified tax consultant and earned a Diplom-Kauffrau degree from the University of Bayreuth.
