Katelyn Rey

Katelyn Rey focuses her practice on labor and employment matters. Ms. Rey regularly defends employers in both court and arbitration against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation (including whistleblower claims), wage and hour law violations, and state law torts. In addition to her litigation experience, Ms. Rey presents sexual harassment trainings and conducts internal investigations. She maintains an active counseling practice and routinely advises clients on a variety of employment issues, including company policies, employee agreements, and compliance with federal and state leave laws. Ms. Rey also handles traditional labor law matters.

While in law school, Ms. Rey served as the Executive Notes Editor of the Hastings Law Journal. She also completed two judicial externships for the Honorable Charles R. Breyer of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and the Honorable A. James Robertson II of the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco.
