Kalina Pulit

Kalina is a London-based visual artist, working predominantly with photography and film within fashion and art context.

Originally from Poland, Kalina studied law, which she eventually swapped for a Fashion Styling and Photography Degree at London College of Fashion. Since then she has collaborated with photographers including Chen Man, Yin Chao and Nicole Maria Winkler among others, working on fashion styling and creative direction front.

Along the way Kalina worked for Harper’s Bazaar China, directed short films and took countless amount of pictures on disposable cameras as a part of her ongoing visual diary. Those images eventually caught an eye of Dazed Digital editor and resulted in a feature that has shifted her career towards lens-based image making.

Her work can be distinguished by strong use of colour and texture, lo-fi aesthetic and dynamism within a frame.

Kalina has recently completed an artist residency in Łódź, Poland, and is currently working on putting together her first photobook.
