Justin Spencer-Young

Justin Spencer-Young specialises in VALUE. Researching it, understanding it, measuring it, finding it and creating it. Justin has lectured in finance and accounting for 7 years and talking value and value creation is what he enjoys most.

He holds a BSc (Building) (Wits) and an MBA (Wits) and calls himself “a builder at heart” after spending several years in the commercial construction industry as a project manager.

In 2003 he started his own corporate finance consultant business and has been lecturing in the field of accounting and finance since 2006. As part of his consulting business he has been involved in numerous start-ups, growth business and corporates.

Justin lectures at Wits Business School (WBS) on the Masters in Business Administration (MBA), Management Advancement Programme (MAP), New Managers Programme (NMP) and various executive education courses. On the WBS MBA Justin lectures on the Finance core courses and the Strategic Finance elective. Justin also lectures at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) on the Programme in Management Development (PMD) and various other company specific finance programmes.
