Jung Won LEE is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at ESSEC Business School, Paris, France. Her research focuses on the psychological antecedents and consequences of interpersonal networks.

In one stream, Jung focuses on how individuals’ cognitive and motivational processes form and mobilize advantageous networks in organizations. In another stream, Jung explores the psychological consequences (e.g., employee burnout, creativity) of network positions in the workplace. She uses various methods, including lab experiments, surveys, and social network and text analysis. Her research won several awards including Best Symposium Awards and Best Paper Award from Academy of Management Conferences and Andreas Al-Laham Best Paper Award from European Group for Organizational Studies.

Jung received a Ph.D. in Management from UCL School of Management, University College London and was a Chazen visiting scholar at Columbia Business School. Prior to her Ph.D., she studied Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (B.A.) and Cognitive Studies at Columbia University (M.A.). Jung is from Seoul, South Korea.
