Human Capital Leadership Institute

Josie is the Vice President of Human Capital at Human Capital Leadership Institute. She is concurrently the Head of HR, as well as Programme Director for HCLI’s HR Leaders Programme and HCLI-INSEAD HR Business Acumen Programmes.

She was previously a Senior Principal Consultant with Accenture, and has accumulated over 20 years of leadership development, HR strategy, talent management, change management and facilitation experience. She also serves as Adjunct Faculty at Singapore Management University, National University of Singapore and Singapore University of Social Sciences.

Josie has held regional Talent Management Director roles at Diageo APAC, Heineken APAC and Sentosa Development Corporation. At Accenture, Josie led the Leadership and Culture Transformation Community of Practice for ASEAN. She was also a frequent faculty member at Accenture University in St Charles, and a leadership coach for internal and external clients using Accenture’s proprietary leadership assessment tools.

Josie graduated with a BSc (Hons) Business degree from Manchester Metropolitan University 1998, and a MA (Distinction) Organization Studies from Warwick University 2005. Her Masters thesis focused on trust repair in organisations. She earned a PhD at Singapore Management University in 2020 with her thesis on transformational leadership and risk-taking in Asia.
