Joshua Pieper

Joshua Pieper, PMP®, CBCP, is currently the Senior Project Manager for the United States Coast Guard, National Pollution Funds Center, the agency responsible for the administration of the Oil Spill Liability Trust Fund. While at the Coast Guard, he has managed several projects from IT modernization and software development to business continuity and contingency response implementation. Prior to his tenure at the USCG, Josh was a program manager for the Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation and a management consultant serving the Department of Homeland Security.

Josh also served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army, where he held several positions including Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, Intelligence Officer, and Operations Officer. He was commissioned from JMU’s Army ROTC and holds a B.A. in Justice Studies.

Josh and his family reside in Northern Virginia but frequently visit the Shenandoah Valley area to enjoy the outdoor activities and beautiful natural scenery.
