Josh Daitch brings over 25 years of diverse real estate investment experience to SAJE Capital. Prior to founding the company, Mr. Daitch spent 14 years with Mesirow Financial, based in Chicago. As a Senior Managing Director, he founded and led Mesirow Financial's Institutional Real Estate Multi-Manager group ("MFIRE") and held several leadership positions within the private equity and real estate investment divisions during his tenure. MFIRE raised $390 million in investor capital and partnered with 37 different partnerships accounting for more than $40 billion of real estate transactions around the globe. Before joining Mesirow Financial in 2001, Mr. Daitch was responsible for due diligence and transaction execution for over $10 billion in domestic and international real estate and loan portfolios. He held various positions within The J.E. Robert Companies during which time he helped start the Goldman Sachs subsidiary, the Archon Group, in 1996 which was acquired on behalf of Goldman Sachs' various Whitehall Funds. While at Archon Group, Mr. Daitch moved to London to launch Archon Europe, and was one of the founding team members for the Trillium Group which was formed to manage the 17 million square foot, 840-property portfolio for the British Department of Social Security.
Mr. Daitch has been involved with several real estate trade associations including the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) where he serves as the co-chair for the International Real Estate Investment Affinity Group. He is also a special advisor to the Family Office Exchange (FOX) Direct Investing Network.
Mr. Daitch received his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, where he now serves as a frequent lecturer and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
