Joseph DeCoste is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of New Brunswick. Joseph holds a Ph.D in Finance from the University of Alberta. He conducts empirical research which explores how the development of markets and behavior of investors effects the pricing and dynamics of financial assets and can spill over into the real economy.
His current research investigates the effects that the financialization and indexing of assets has on financial markets and the real economy. Joseph teaches Financial Data Analysis, International Financial Management, and Financial Institutions and Markets within UNB’s graduate and undergraduate programs.
