Jos Bommel

Jos van Bommel is associate professor at the University of Luxembourg. He holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Eindhoven, an MBA from the IESE Business School, and a Ph.D. in Finance from INSEAD. His conducts empirical and theoretical research in various areas of corporate finance. He has completed several studies on IPOs, and is also interested in private equity, venture capital, and international finance. His research on market microstructure, banking and corporate governance has been published in the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Corporate Finance, and many other peer reviewed academic journals. Jos has taught corporate finance related courses to MBA students and executives, at a.o., Babson College, Oxford University, and Esade Business School
