Dr. Jonathan Everhart is an associate professor of business legal studies at University of Houston–Clear Lake. He has extensive work with startups and policy in the fintech and digital economy sectors. He also has been appointed as a member in leading digital economy advisory boards, including the Green Technology Advisory Board for the United Nations Science-Policy-Business Forum and the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Digital Economy for the United States Department of Commerce/United States International Trade Administration.

For his leadership, Dr. Everhart has been nominated as a World Economic Forum – Young Global Leader and a David Rockefeller Fellow for The Trilateral Commission. He has research publications in the Southern Journal of Business and Ethics and the Small Business Institute Journal.

In addition to his time as a college professor, Dr. Everhart has a background as an entrepreneur in international business and policy, and as a corporate attorney.
