Jonathan Donner is the Vice President Learning and Capability Development Unilever PLC, one of the world's leading suppliers of fast moving consumer goods across the Foods and Home & Personal Care categories. Based in London, his responsibilities include: designing and delivering global leadership programmes through Unilever’s “Four Acres” Leadership Centres in London (and soon Singapore), managing the infrastructure which provides training to over 120,000 employees in over 100 countries, and leading the Unilever Learning Academy (ULA), a council which reports into the Unilever Executive Board, and governs and directs the strategies, standards and delivery of all learning across Unilever. Jonathan has held a range of major development roles in significant global businesses. For most of his career he worked with Philip Morris/Altria, with assignments in business units in Europe and the US, ultimately heading up all leadership development activities at the company-wide level which at the time included Philip Morris, Kraft and Miller Brewing, an $80 billion business with 170,000 employees. In 2004, Jonathan moved to the UK to head up Leadership and Development for Marks and Spencer, a leading UK Retailer. He joined Unilever at the end of 2005 as the Vice President Global Learning, with a focus on leading one of the largest learning outsourcing projects of its kind, later expanding his responsibilities to cover other talent and leadership areas. Jonathan lives outside of London, with his wife, Louise. Their two children are currently attending college in the Northeast United States.
