Biography

Serve as a clinical/counseling psychologist where my clinical, psychometric, and administrative abilities can be utilized to provide client services in a team-oriented mental health organizations

Qualifications & Specialties

  • Motivated, self-driven, focused licensed psychologist and former college professor/administrator/ with 30 years experience as a clinician, therapist, director of adult out-patient services, mental health center CEO, and organizational trainer/consultant. Advisor to community-based organizations.

  • Strong clinical skills in substance abuse, addiction, and SPMI populations. Clinical practice includes adolescents, adults and families; supervision of pre/post doctoral students; training clinicians in new treatment modalities; and working with integrated out-patient teams in a multi-cultural/national setting.

  • Deep concern for client development using cognitive-behavioral, NLP and solution-focused approaches that promote self-empowerment and personal responsibility for wellness.

  • Ability to use psychometric training to assess the clinical and developmental needs of individuals and families. Then create a viable therapeutic/vocational plan for redirection; and communicate this plan to clients and others as necessary or authorized within or external to the organization.

  • Finely honed communications using technical writing and presentation skills to clearly articulate an individual or organizational message.
