Academic Division: Accounting & LawJohn is a business lawyer and shareholder at the law firm of Sheehan Phinney Bass & Green, P.A., with offices in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He is admitted to practice law in the courts of both Massachusetts and New Hampshire, in addition to various federal jurisdictions. He acts as outside general counsel for several businesses and works with companies to minimize risk and solve problems in a prompt, economical and practical manner. In addition to transactional work, John has an extensive litigation practice, having litigated and arbitrated throughout the United States. As an adjunct faculty member at Babson College in Wellesley, MA, John teaches business law in the evening MBA division. He has also taught business law for Babson College on the undergraduate level. He is the 2011 recipient of Babson College’s Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching by an adjunct professor. John has represented clients in both the private and public sectors, and has served as Town Counsel for the Town of Maynard, MA and as Special Town Counsel for the Town of Wayland, MA. He has been active in several professional organizations, including the CFO Alliance and Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston. He holds a J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School and a B.A. from Cornell University.
