Rotterdam School of Management
John Hayes is Emeritus Professor of Change Management at Leeds University Business School and a regular contributor to executive programmes at Copenhagen Business School, Aarhus School of Business, USI Università della Svizzera italiana and Singapore Management University.
His research interests focus on processes of change and development in organisations and on cognitive style and the way managers think. He has published over sixty papers and ten books including The Theory and Practice of Change Management (5th edition 2018).
John also works with individuals and teams to help facilitate change in complex organisational settings and has worked with a wide range of private sector companies including Six Swiss Exchange (Zurich stock exchange), KU, iQuest, GNER, National Australis Group, Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks, British Gas, BT, ICI, Lucas, Delphi, Occidental Petroleum, Bawden Drilling, Glaxo, Reckitts, Ladbrookes and Nestlé. He has also worked for a range of public sector organizations such as the NHS, Benefits Agency, MOD, RAF and the US Army, and charities such as NACRO.
