Biography

Babson Olin Graduate School of Business

Academic Division: EntrepreneurshipSince 2004, through his company, Network Blue, Inc. (www.networkblueinc.com), John advises middle market companies in various forms of M&A transactions. From letter of intent to closing, Network Blue employs a multidisciplinary approach to execute every aspect of a transaction and capture maximum value. This include financial advisory, negotiations, due diligence and legal guidance for sellers and purchasers. From 2003 to January 2005, John served as Vice President of Rehab Medical, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of continuous passive motion (CPM) devices used to rehabilitate joints after surgeries. At Rehab Medical, he helped expand its distribution channel and explored and introduced new product lines to leverage the distribution channel. John led management in its sale of Rehab Medical to Otto Bock Healthcare, L.P. in January 2005. John subsequently co-founded a durable medical equipment supply company, which provided a web-based, turnkey system, enabling orthopedic and podiatric practices to dispense an array of durable medical equipment directly to patients during office visits. He launched the company, assisted in raising several million dollars, hired key employees and ultimately merged the company with another entity. John gained substantial experience in the law from 1991-2003, practicing in Boston as an associate and then a partner. John now practices law with Acceleration Law Group (www.accelerationlaw.com). He is a member of Boston Harbor Angels (www.bostonharborangels.com) and an active angel investor. He has invested and taken advisory or board roles in many companies. As an Adjunct Professor at Babson College F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, John teaches Mergers & Acquisitions for Entrepreneurs. John also serves as a mentor in Babson’s Venture Accelerator Program, advising businesses at the “launch and grow stage,” coaching entrepreneurs on go-to-market strategies, operations, sales and fundraising. John is currently the Chief Strategic Officer and in-house legal counsel for a company located in San Francisco, CA. He is a graduate of Bucknell University (1987) and Boston College Law School (1991).
