Background
John Gordanier earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 2006 and his B.S. in Economics and Statistics from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 2000.
He joined the Department of Economics at the Darla Moore School of Business in 2007 after spending one year as a visiting assistant professor at Amherst College.
Research
His research interests are in personnel economics, labor economics and industrial organization. He is currently a member of the advisory panel for the Law Firm''s Working Group, a cross-disciplinary group of researchers studying empirical aspects of law firms.
