Jef’s main priority is to provide investment and financial planning services tailored to the unique wants and needs of those he serves. With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, he is determined to deliver the kind of guidance that his clients not only want, but deserve.

Jef received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Carroll College and went on to work for 15 years as a futures trader on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Jef left the floor of the Merc to become a Financial Advisor. He began at PaineWebber then moved on to Wells Fargo Advisors. In order to serve his clients and expand his knowledge, Jef became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and earned the CIMA® designation. He holds a series 3, 7, 63, 65 securities license and an insurance license.

In 2005, Jef became a Certified Financial Planning educator at DePaul University in Chicago. He is responsible for the Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits module. Preparing the coursework for each semester allows him to stay up to date on the ever changing employee benefits landscape. Teaching the CFP® has deepened his detailed knowledge in insurance, investments, retirement planning and estate planning. In addition, Jef holds the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CFPA) designation from the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA). He also holds the Investment Management Consultant designation from Raymond James.
