Biography

Hertie School of Governance

Jochen Rehmert is Doctoral Student and a Research Associate in the “STARS” Project at the Hertie School of Governance. His doctoral research revolves around electoral competition, legislative behavior and electoral systems. Jochen gained experience in applied research in Germany, Japan and the United States, where he worked on sociological and political research projects. He received his BA and MA in Social Science from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, with exchanges in Japan (Ritsumeikan University) and the United States (Duke University).
