Biography

Jim Prost, M.B.A., helps you in crafting exciting and impactful speeches, in developing effective presentations, and mastering the art of PowerPoint.

Jim has mastered the art of presentation skills and shares his insights, you in developing your skills as a dynamic presenter, and in crafting a memorable speech.

Jim works with your organization in designing and developing your marketing, sales, and strategic plans.

He delivers programs on strategic marketing, sales management, presentation skills and other marketing and management-related subjects.

Jim was Director of Marketing and Sales for the Technology Products Group at Dataquest (a high technology marketing research company) and Vice President of Sales for Power Up Software Corporation (a consumer software products manufacturer). He held management positions with Qume Corporation, GP Technologies, Xidex Magnetics, and Wabash Tape Corporation.

Jim has taught Strategic Market Planning in the MBA program.

He also teaches Strategic Marketing for the Professional Development Programs.

He teaches both undergraduate and graduate marketing courses.

He was the lead instructor for a live, 4-part television program entitled Small Business Success Series.

Among his clients are Raley’s Grocery Stores, Advanced Micro Devices, California Credit Union League, Xerox Corporation, Pacific Gas & Electric, Pacific Bell, Levi Strauss and Company, Southwestern Bell Company, American Society for Enology and Viticulture, California State Automobile Association, California Association of Winegrape Growers, Meeting Professionals International, and Marketing Association of California.
