Jill joined Mercer in 2013 as Partner, Global Chief Talent & Inclusion Officer, responsible for both the Global Talent Management and Diversity and Inclusion strategy in support of Mercer’s business strategy. Jill and her team build and consult within Mercer on the global people strategy, with a focus on building the leadership and workforce for the future and incorporating Mercer’s digital strategy into the talent development agenda. Focus is on colleague development and life long learning, diversity and inclusion, building agile leadership for growth, change management and driving a digital component to simplify and drive greater talent solution impact. Outcomes enhance the colleague experience, cultivate a thriving workforce, and build for an accelerated future. The 25+ years prior, Jill held the HR strategic leadership role driving the talent and inclusion strategy, talent acquisition, learning and development, executive development & succession planning, all aspects of talent management, OD and change management for 3 organizations: Discover Financial Services, Hewitt Associates, and Bank of Montreal (BMO). Building strategy that drives business outcomes through effective change management is Jill’s specialty. Jill also serves as an Exec Ed/MBA adjunct faculty, and is a member of the Harvard & MIT founded edX Corporate Advisory Board. She is a Mentor for Aspire, mentoring women from underdeveloped countries leading not-for-profit organizations, and member of the ADL (Anti-defamation League) Education Committee, focusing on anti-discrimination and anti-bullying in communities, K through 12 schools, and Universities. Jill shares her practitioner expertise as a frequent speaker and SME on talent acquisition, succession, change management, leadership development, career development, workforce analytics and inclusive workforce. Jill holds an MS degree and has completed doctoral work in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Illinois.
