Biography

Bentley University

Jill A. Brown (Ph.D., University of Georgia), is an associate professor of management at Bentley University. Her scholarly interests include corporate governance, ethics, corporate social responsibility, and strategic leadership. Brown’s work has been published in Organization Science, Journal of Business Ethics, Business Ethics Quarterly, Journal of Management Studies, Strategic Organization, Corporate Governance: An International Review (CGIR), California Management Review, to name a few. She is an Associate Editor for CGIR and serves on the editorial review board of Business & Society. She is Division Program Chair-Elect for the Social Issues in Management Division (SIM) of the Academy of Management. She is also co-author of the 10th edition of the textbook Business & Society: Ethics, Sustainability and Stakeholder Management with Archie Carroll, forthcoming in 2017. Prior to her career in academe, Jill was a commercial banker and consultant.
