Biography

Yi Jiang is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship in ESCP Europe. Yi has recently (2016) earned her Ph.D. degree in Grenoble Ecole de Management. 

 

Yi’s research and teaching interests revolve around challenges founding teams meet during the new venture creation processes, with particular emphasis on effectuation and attentional allocation mechanism. She is specialized in process study and has worked closely with Chinese high-tech entrepreneurs and refugee entrepreneurs in Europe. 

 

She regularly presents her research at leading international conferences, such as Academy of Management (AoM), Babson, etc. During her Ph.D. years, her research has been accepted in International Journal of Technology Management (IJTM). Several of her recent research papers are under revise and resubmit in Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice (ETP) _and _Journal of Business Venturing (JBV)

 

In addition to her research, Yi has taught strategic management and entrepreneurship related classes and has 7 years of prominent working experience in micro-electronic and on-line retail industries.
