Biography

Jessica Khalaf is the Associate Director of Programs for the Center for Civic Leadership. She oversees the Civic Professionalism sphere of the center, including programming such as Leadership Rice Mentorship Experience (LRME), the Hilda and Hershel Rich Family Endowment for Student Community Service, and the Houston Action Research Team (HART) program. She advises students on civic leadership and Rice nominated fellowships. A proud Rice alumna, she served previously as the Assistant Director for Policy and Community Engagement at the University of Texas at Austin, where she also earned her M.Ed and Ph.D in higher education administration.
