Jerome Dwight, named one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 is, an international executive with a record of providing strategic and operational leadership to organizations in technology, banking, media, e-commerce and professional services. He has deep experience building scale and shareholder value globally with a record of successful business launches and transformations across Canada, USA, Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America.

His recent experience includes serving as Canadian executive vice-president at Cox Automotive Canada where he leads more than 1,200 personnel providing financial, technology, logistics and data solutions in the automotive segment. At Cox, Dwight launched NextGear Capital, a private fintech bank, and within 24 months grew it to become the largest non-bank lender in automotive, with $1.6 billion in funded loans. Dwight also launched Manheim.ca and grew it to become Canada’s largest e-Bay style online vehicle auction for dealers to stock vehicles. Dwight also led innovative technology partnerships with industry disrupters including Uber, Lyft and Tesla. With responsibility for mergers and acquisitions, Dwight also led investments in fintech businesses such as Dealertrack, Canada’s largest auto-loan processer. He also restructured the group balance sheet and raised more than $300 million in additional private placement facilities.

Prior to joining Cox Automotive, Dwight served as managing director and global market Head at RBC Wealth Management (2011-2015), where he led award-winning businesses in the British Isles, Caribbean and Latin America, along with client-facing teams across Europe and Asia, Canada and the USA.
