Biography

UW Professional & Continuing Education

Jeremy Zaretzky is the co-founder and president of WireSpring, which provides an Internet of Things software platform for designing and deploying networks of smart devices and managing them from the cloud. He has been building and managing enterprise websites since the days when static HTML and FTP were the norm, and his more recent front-end work has focused on migrating a large static website and a smaller CMS-driven website to a unified CMS platform, including implementing a site-wide HTTPS/SSL and responsive design.

Zaretzky is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Washington Information School, where he has taught classes on topics like design thinking, content strategy and information architecture. Outside of work, he is a volunteer mentor at Galvanize and the UW master's in entrepreneurship program. Zaretzky holds a bachelor's in economics from Duke University and has completed graduate-level certificate programs at Stanford and UC Berkeley. He is also a named inventor on six U.S. patents.
