Biography

Jennifer Misyak joined the Behavioural Science Group at WBS in 2012 as a postdoctoral researcher, after obtaining her PhD in Psychology at Cornell University. Her work primarily aims at understanding the principles and foundations for social coordination and human communication, as well as on investigating individual differences in mechanisms for statistical learning and language.
She publishes on these and related topics across leading journals (Trends in Cognitive Sciences, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B; Journal of Memory and Language; Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory and Cognition; and others) and has received various awards for her research, including the Marr Prize awarded by the Cognitive Science Society.
