Boston University
Jeffrey Carruthers is an associate professor at BU’s College of Engineering. He is an expert in various forms of communication (wireless, optical, and mobile) and is also interested in digital communications theory and wireless networks.
Professor Carruthers received his Ph.D. (1997) and M.S. (1993) from the University of California, Berkeley, in Electrical Engineering. He received his B.Eng (1990) at Carleton University (Canada) in Computer Systems Engineering.
Dr. Carruthers is a Senior Member of IEEE, IEEE Communications Society and the IASTED Technical Committee on Telecommunications.
