Jeanne F. Duffy received the M.B.A. degree from the Simmons School of Management, Boston, MA, USA, and the Ph.D. degree in biology (concentrations in neurobiology and physiology) from Northeastern University, Boston.,She is currently an Associate Professor of medicine in the Division of Sleep Medicine, Harvard Medical School, Boston and a Neuroscientist in the Division of Sleep and Circadian Disorders, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston. Her research team studies basic and applied aspects of circadian physiology in humans, including how the circadian timing system impacts sleep and subsequent waking performance, and individual differences in circadian rhythmicity, sleep timing, sleep duration, and response to sleep loss.,Dr. Duffy was elected as Secretary-Treasurer of the Sleep Research Society in 2015, and serves on the editorial boards of the journals Sleep, Journal of Biological Rhythms, and Sleep Medicine Research.
