French born and a United States citizen living in New York since 1991, Jean Claude has lived on three continents and has conducted business in different industries and in every part of the world. In addition to his deep understanding of cross-cultural environments, he brings to Executive Consulting and Leadership Development a ‘real life’ global experience at Board level.

Jean-Claude is a Senior Associate of the Kets de Vries Institute and is also Adjunct Clinical Professor of Management at INSEAD and Coaching Practice Director at the INSEAD Global Leadership Center. He held responsibility for Leadership Development in the Global Executive MBA Programs held in Fontainebleau, Singapore and Abu Dhabi as well as the Asia Executive MBA developed jointly with Tsinghua University in Beijing. He now focuses on Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise and Company Specific Programs on and off campus.

He is a member of the Harvard Medical School/McLean Hospital Institute of Coaching Professional Association, the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations (ISPSO) and the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC). He also works with the World Economic Forum for their Global Leadership Fellows Program in Geneva and New York and directs their annual program at INSEAD. KDVI partnerships include the Razak School of Government (RSOG) in Kuala Lumpur and the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in Berlin

His last corporate role was on the Board of Christie’s International as Group Chief Operating Officer, position he held until the end of 2004, responsible for worldwide Operations and also overseeing Human Resources with a focus on Organization and Leadership Development. Jean-Claude also has an extensive background in Hospitality, including seven years on the Board of Hilton International as Vice President-Western Europe and Africa, based in Paris and Senior Vice President-The Americas based in New York. He is co-chair of the Patient and Family Committee for Cancer at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and received the United Hospital Fund Volunteer Award in March 2009 for his work with cancer patients.
