Jay Rubin joined New York University Stern School of Business as an Adjunct Professor in January 2008. He also teaches in the graduate program in public relations and corporate communication at NYU's School of Continuing and Professional Studies, and he is a guest lecturer at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Professor Rubin's fields of expertise include corporate communication and media. He is a writer and a public relations consultant whose clients over the years have included ABC, Bain & Company, CNBC, Gerber and Scholastic, among numerous others. Previously, he worked as a cable television network executive and as a journalist covering media issues.

Professor Rubin's academic background is in communication and philosophy. At Stern, he teaches "Organizational Communication and its Social Context."
