IESE Business School
Javier Quintanilla Alboreca is professor in the Department of Managing People in Organizations. His research activities center principally on the field of human resources, with special emphasis on multinational companies. He is also involved in on-going research on the impact of e-business on people management.
He has presented papers at numerous international conferences, and has published articles in prestigious journals such as The International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of World Business, Industrial Relations Journal and The European Journal of Industrial Relations, to mention a few. Dr. Quintanilla is also the author of numerous business cases and technical notes. He recently published the book, The Management of Human Resources in Multinational Companies: Uncovering Subsidiaries (2001), Prentice Hall – Financial Times.
Prof. Quintanilla is a member of various professional associations and academies. He also serves on the editorial boards of Aedipe (Spanish Association of Personnel Management) and HRMER (Human Resource Management Education Review), and frequently advises national and international companies.
