Biography

As an Associate Programme Director at the Office of Service-Learning, Prof. Jasper van Holsteijn develops and coordinates cluster courses and teaches a diverse set of lectures and workshops with a special focus on social innovation, design thinking, academic writing, storytelling, and comparative/action research. Jasper offers advice on innovative teaching and learning practices, and implements these practices in his own teaching. He focuses on the year-round continuity of OSL's impact-based projects by integrating the international Summer and Winter academies into courses during the semesters. Jasper also coordinates Service-Learning projects with Lingnan's faculty members to ensure a good fit between course content, community partners, and projects.

He is also Adjunct Assistant Professor of the School of Graduate Studies (GS) teaching courses for the MA in Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management (SEIM) from September intake 2021.
