Opus College of Business

Jason Skirry, PhD, has been teaching business ethics and philosophy at the University of St. Thomas since 2008. His teaching philosophy focuses on helping students clarify their own values, improve their critical thinking and successfully apply moral theory to business practice.

Skirry’s research is concerned with cultivating and integrating ethics within business environments, organizational culture, and one’s own personal development. At the organizational level, he studies the ethical responsibilities of organizations and how organizations can incorporate these responsibilities into their culture and decision-making process. At the personal level, he researches and develops practices that can help people integrate their personal and professional lives.

Skirry is the founder of Philosophical Living, where he consults, leads workshops and lectures in areas of personal and professional development, ethical decision-making and meaningful work.
