Background
Jason Rasso holds a Ph.D. from the University of South Florida as well as a Master in Accountancy and two bachelor''s degrees from the University of West Florida. Rasso gained over 15 years of teaching experience from such institutions as the College of Charleston, the University of South Florida, Georgia State University and Texas A&M University prior to joining the faculty of the University of South Carolina in 2016. Rasso''s research interests include behavioral auditing, managerial accounting and fraud. Prior to returning to academia, Rasso worked as a special agent with IRS Criminal Investigation and as an agent with the U.S. Border Patrol. He has been a certified fraud examiner since 2007.
Research
His research interests include behavioral auditing, auditor litigation, financial accounting, fraud and forensic accounting, and managerial/cost accounting.
