Biography

BVCA | Private Equity & Venture Capital Association

Jason Bradbury is best known for presenting The Gadget Show, both in the UK and US. He has also worked as a presenter and producer on BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky. Away from the studio he is a lecturer on the University of Lincoln’s Computer Science and Product Design courses. As well as being a student of all things tech, Jason builds things, from hoverboards and robots, to mind-reading devices. Jason has written extensively for technology and computer magazines throughout his career. He has also written both fiction and non-fiction books, has served as a judge at the BAFTA Video Games and the Young Engineers of the Year awards, and holds a variety of gadget- related world-records.

Starting out his career in stand-up comedy, he came onto the circuit in a double act with David Walliams. Making a name for himself on the entertainment circuit, he collected credits from Trouble TV (T Spot, Trouble @ Breakfast, Jason On Your Doorstop, Trouble Radio) Bravo TV (FHM Top 100 Girls, World's Most Amazing Videos, Mercenaries), Sky 1 (The Hit Mix), Channel 4 (Under The Moon), LWT (Live From The Capital Cafe) to name but a few.

But it is in the arena of Science and Technology that he can most readily fuse his personal passion for science with the skills of an entertainer.

Jason is a gadget and technology maestro. A keen collector of ‘exotic’ gizmos and an ardent techno DIY’er. He is a qualified pilot and has showcased his flying skills on many TV shows including BBC’s own ‘Top Gear of the Skies’ The Air Show and the award winning Channel 4 Schools series Science In Focus. He writes regularly for technology publications including: Net Magazine, PC Format and The Guardian.

He has racked up a number of ‘soft science’ credits Top Gear GTI (BBC2, UK Horizons), The Store @ the end of the World (A ‘Boys Toys’ format for Granada), Mad Science (RTS award winning children’s science series for Granada) Cheats (two year running gadget and games show for Trouble TV), Hard Labour (a journalistic investigation of the world’s toughest jobs for Bravo TV) and Front Room (flagship show for BBC Knowledge that combined ‘chat show’ with every conceivable ‘ology’).

Jason has appeared on ITV’s This Morning as their gadget guru and a new science series for Discovery Kids called Gross! He is also hosting The Gadget Show alongside Suzi Perry for Channel 5.

When he isn’t putting gadgets through their paces, Jason is busy writing books, covering the topics of robots, gizmoes, maths and web culture.

Witty and intelligent, Jason blends together the perfect mix for both business and entertainment events.
