Aalto University School of Business
I work on advanced marine structures made mainly from steel. I also work on hybrid structures. The focus is on the assessment of response (stresses and deformations) and on the limit states (fatigue, ultimate and collision strength). I study homogenization and localization techniques to reduce the size of computational problems. This helps in concept design where time is limited in decision making.
